About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid position on a 1-year contract with a Slovak client. The candidate must have at least 5-6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot. This role combines remote work with occasional on-site collaboration in Bratislava.
Requirements
At least 5-6 years of experience with Java SE and Java EE.
Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
Knowledge of designing and implementing microservices architecture.
Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful web services.
Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Professional proficiency in English.
